A New Day

The last few blog posts have been about hope, serendipity, and finding meaning in life’s challenges.  They have been deeply personal.  I wrote from the heart and right or wrong, that was where I was at the time.  I have had some doubts about sharing my inner thoughts and vulnerabilities with the world.  But, in the last few days I have also been lifted by the kind words of people who found my blog posts.  They let me know I was not alone.  Some of them had similar experiences.  I felt closer to them all.  It seems to me, the more guarded we all are, the less connection we have with each other.

Although, perhaps I need to guard myself more.

Either way, I don’t want this blog to be just about me and my experiences.  I want it to be about women lifting each other up.  Women coming together in a community to nourish themselves, create the life of their dreams, and bloom into their best selves.

So, it’s a new day here at Nourish. Create. Bloom.  We’re moving forward and taking these past few days of experience with us; to help us grow as individuals and also to help us grow closer together as a community.  We’re learning from our own experiences and those of others.  It’s hard to nourish, create, or bloom in isolation- and not nearly as fun.

  1. So sorry to hear your news. I have had some challenging times myself over the past 5 months and HOPE is sometimes the only thing that keeps me going. I had written a very nice nice note/blog (newbie contributor) but somehow deleted it. Do you remember the conversation You and I had the last time I saw you out at the Indian Rest. with Susan. I wished and Still Do that you will become a mom. My prayers are never changing in that regard. Since you mentioned blogging I tried to find a way and thought I had signed up for an account thru Google, but found out today that maybe I don't! :0.
    Anyway, Love the blog.
It would be soooo nice if people could jsut say what was on their minds and worry about what others would think or say.... Fear of the need to constantly cover your Butt.
I have a habit of saying what is on my mind and was always told NOT TO. It was wrong and nobody wants to hear the truth anyway. I think speaking out is a Freeing Wonderful way to live. but have found that in the past there had been so many times where it got me into trouble or there was some sort of backlash because someone would not agree with my point of view. I think that we can all learn something from someone, no matter who they are.
Glad you found a way to Blog and Figured it out. Maybe I will to someday. :)
